At some point or the other in our lives we all have chased celebrities and craved for their photographs, autographs and any other memorabilia we could get our hands on. Auctions are held to sell memorabilia or clothing from a celebrity's collection. Celebrities truly means anybody who's well-known, like film stars or sports stars or pop singers, national or international leaders and anybody else who has notoriety. Right now even the winner of American Idol television show can be a celebrity and all of the other reality show contestants develop their own celebrities. Not too long ago celebrities meant persons whose claim to fame was not just a 15-20 minutes stint on the tv. People today didn't turn out to be renowned just due to the fact they won the top prize in shows like, "Who wants to be a Millionaire?"-celebrities claim to fame was dependent on their performance on stage or off it.
Celebrity autographs these days can fetch you wonderful cash. It might be reprinted on a mug, a t-shirt or a thousand other collectible items and you could make a bunch of cash. You could also hold your own auction or sell them on web sites like eBay. Right now autographs are a big enterprise and no longer are just young children collecting them but even older men and ladies need to collect them to auction them, either on the web or style their own collectibles like re-printing the autograph-assuming there is no copyright law against it.

questions about direct tv! Currently have comcast and they are screwing me?
checking if someone can answer the following for me.
The cost: If I sign up for the one year i get it for 24.99 a month, with free install in up to 4 rooms and a free hd converter box and a $100 gift card! What is the rate after one year with people with direct tv? Looks like 55.99?? Also looks like a 10 dollar monthly charge for HD so 34.99 than 64.99?
The channels: Will i still be able to get local news and normal football games i get now without a package. Will i still get com cast sports net so i can see braves vs Phillie's, Masn for braves vs Nat's, and masn 2 for braves vs orioles? How does the sports work must i buy a package to see the braves, cowboys, etc?
Signal reliability: How reliable is the signal.
Other services: Who do get for phone and Internet as i currently have com cast bundle?
I have both Direct tv and Comcast. I have a cottage in Maine so I have to have Direct tv there. I pay 55 $ a month but I can shut it off in the winter months. The biggest problem with Direct tv is that they just don't honor their own agreements. They say that they are subject to change so they CHANGE. What actually happened was a sales rep called me and promised that I could postpone service any time as long as they got a days notice but when I called and tried suspending service the phone rep told me that they had changed that policy so I couldn't do that. Only twice a year.I didn't get a lot of what they promised because the folks on the phone acted like I was making it all up. I get local stations "sometime" and you have to pay them extra if they come out to fix something. The signal will go out every now and again. You will get your local sports teams with the 55.99 package and the NFL station too. I don't think they have internet or phone service but I'm not sure.
You could even produce a collection of celebrity autographs by systematically collecting them. You could make a collection that's worth showing to folks and better still for those who have a story to tell as to how you obtained it. There is an additional way of collecting celebrity autographs and that requires some patience and a lot of tough work. Initial of all you've got to know the celebrity's address whose autograph you would like. For this either use some magazines or search the web for celebrity addresses. You will find some books and magazines sold that specifically list celebrity addresses or fan mail addresses.
Take some time to investigation the major, established collectors and companies inside the field of collecting celebrity autographs. They should be pleased to offer their history and credentials as references and might be able to provide you with sound advice concerning any aspect of purchasing and selling. However, in case you do encounter a dealer who's not willing to offer you with any form of certification, proof or references then remain clear. Unless you could trace them as being established and recognized collectors or dealers, leave them alone. When buying make a point of checking any aspect of the collection process that does not seem one hundred percent clear. For help with this, search and view recognized internet sites on the web and establish a communication line with them. This "help line" can save you a lot of time, frustration and possibly, revenue!
