Hi. My best friend played the role of 'Johnny Water Safety' on Romper Room Boston with Host Mrs Jean in the early 1960s. This program ran on Boston's WHDH (channel 7) during the early 1960's when he starred in the 'Johnny Water Safety' role.
Although it probably was broadcast in black & white, He was 8-9 years old and had deep red hair that couldn't be missed in any color photo or video.
I have tried the TV Station WHDH and the Network NBC without any luck in their archives.
Any assistance with other resources for me to try or photo(s) or video(s) that anyone else might have would be Gratefully Appreciated!

I was on Romper Room in Providence, RI in 1966 and tried to find out the same info. In the 60's, TV stations taped over the old shows and didn't archive them. I tried to find out so I could show my daughter that I was on TV when I was little.I still have the diploma dated April 25,1966 to prove that I was on Romper Room and that Miss Bonnie signed it. I was on WPRO-TV at the time. Romper Room was a regional show. Find out what station you were on and call the station manager.
